- Samsung smartphones often show the charge value incorrectly
- The brand is not to blame, but the use of inappropriate accessories
- We know how - our product specialists have researched proven methods for efficient charging and the right accessories.
Samsung smartphones are the most sold in the Czech Republic. However, you can't always rely on the charging speed that customers expect from these smartphones.
What is causing this problem? It is using the wrong accessory to charge the battery.
Understanding the charging standard
Samsung smartphones use the USB Power Delivery 3.0 charging standard with PPS (Programmable Power Supply) technology, which enables fast charging. However, not all chargers on the market with a power delivery (PD) rating of 25 W, 30 W, 45 W or 60 W are compatible with this standard. As a result, even with a high-performance charger, the charging speed may be displayed incorrectly.
Solving the problem
To ensure optimal charging of your Samsung device, it is essential to consider the type of charging and the specific phone model. You can find out the charging type by connecting the smartphone and watching the display showing "Fast Charging", "Super Fast Charging" or "Super Fast Charging 2.0".
Searching for suitable accessories
Armed with the knowledge of the charging type and model of your phone, you can easily find the most suitable accessories from FIXED to ensure fast and efficient charging. FIXED offers a range of chargers designed specifically for Samsung devices that ensure compatibility with the USB Power Delivery 3.0 standard with PPS. By choosing the right accessories, you can charge your Samsung smartphone at the maximum speed possible, keeping your device ready whenever you need it.
Fast charging standard
Found on Samsung A03, A04, A13, A14, M13, we recommend a charger with a minimum power of 15W. For this we recommend these chargers - FIXC20M | FIXC20N | FIXC20 | FIXC15.
Standard super fast charging
For models A23, A24, M23, M24, A33, A34, A52, A53, A54, M53 and S21, S22, S23, Z Flip 3, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 3, Z Fold 4 uses a minimum power of 25 W for charging .Then a 30 W charger is also suitable. It is best to use one of these chargers – FIXC25M | FIXC30M.
Super fast charging standard 2.0
It is Samsung's highest charging standard. You can find it on the S20 Ultra, S22+, S23+, S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra models. For these phones, you need at least 45 W of power for proper charging. We recommend the GaN 65W charger, which ensures proper charging for these models as well, or the FIXC45M-CU | FIXC65-2C.
If you want to use CC cables for charging and your smartphone charges with super fast charging 2.0, there is one thing to keep in mind. CC cables from FIXED have a claimed charging power of up to 60W. So for a maximum voltage of 20V and a current of 3A, it might seem like the 60W specification fits - but it doesn't. In fact, thanks to PPS, Samsung requires the CC cable to meet a charging current of up to 5A for charging at 45W. We also have a solution for this in the form of new braided cables that have a rated power of up to 100 W, i.e. full 20 V at 5 A.
Probably the simplest and most advanced solution are wireless chargers. Samsung has supported wireless charging on its S-series flagships since the S6, the former Note, and now the Z Flip and Z Fold. With some exceptions, they support the QI 15W wireless charging standard. This means that all the latest Samsung devices can be charged with FIXED wireless chargers, with the highest performance. For this purpose, you can use the reliable Matic, Roll 2 car chargers or Powerstation for Samsung and SlimPad for home and office.
Don't let incompatible accessories slow down the charging of your Samsung smartphone. By choosing a suitable charger that is in accordance with the charging type and model of your phone, you can enjoy fast and efficient charging. Trust FIXED to provide you with accessories that guarantee optimal performance and keep your Samsung device charged and ready for whatever the day brings.
