How to choose a power bank

When choosing a power bank, we recommend considering these 3 main parameters:

• Capacityin mAh (i.e., how much energy the power bank holds). This determines how many times the power bank can charge your device. Power banks with a capacity of up to 10,000 mAh are more suitable for occasional charging for a shorter period; for charging multiple devices at once, a capacity of 20,000 mAh or higher is ideal. We discuss this in more detail below.
• Power, which is given in watts (W) and determines how fast the power bank charges. The higher the power, the faster the charging.
• Type of power bank. In our offer, you will find both classic "wired" charging power banks and MagSafe power banks.
• Connectivity.Always choose a power bank that has the same connectors as your phone, tablet, headphones, and other devices.

Will you choose a classic (Zen) or wireless (MagZen) power bank?

FIXED power banks will catch your eye, whether you prefer classic wired charging or enjoy wireless charging.

1. If you choose a classic power bank with an LCD display from theFIXED Zenseries with USB-C and USB-A outputs, you can charge your devices quickly and conveniently with a cable (capacity 5,000–30,000 mAh).
2. Power banks from theFIXED MagZenseries charge both via cable and wirelessly. They use MagSafe technology with magnetic attachment (capacity 5,000–10,000 mAh).

If the fastest possible charging is your priority, we recommend FIXED series power banks. But if you prefer convenience and cable-free charging, you will appreciate one of the MagZen power banks.

Which power bank capacity to choose

The choice of capacity depends mainly on how often and what you need to charge. Here's a basic overview:

• 5,000 mAh Power Bank– approximately 1 phone charge, the most compact pocket-friendly option (e.g., MagZen 5 Crystal, Zen 5 Plug-in models).
• 10,000 mAh Power Bank– ideal compromise between capacity and weight, can handle 2–3 phone charges (e.g., MagZen 10 Pro, Zen 10 models).
• 20,000 mAh Power Bank– approximately 5 phone charges or 1 tablet charge. With this capacity, you can still easily take it on a plane (e.g., Zen 20, Zen 20 Pro models).
• 30,000 mAh Power Bank– suitable for several days off-grid or for charging a laptop. With a power bank of this capacity, you need to be careful if you want to take it on a plane.

Power bank for iPhone and Magsafe

For wireless charging of iPhone using MagSafe, we at FIXED have designed power banks from the MagZen series.

Which power bank to choose for a laptop

FIXED power banks can easily handle laptop charging, but it's important to choose the right model.

The power bank must supportUSB-C Power Deliveryand have at least30 Wof power for light ultrabooks, ideally 65–100 W for more powerful laptops and MacBooks.

What to look out for when choosing a power bank for a plane (Ryanair, Smartwings, and others)

Not every power bank can be taken on board a plane. Most airlines (including Ryanair and Smartwings) have a limit of100 Wh maximumper power bank.

For example, a 20,000 mAh power bank corresponds to approximately 74 Wh, so it will easily pass, while 30,000 mAh (approx. 111 Wh) already exceeds the limit and you need to ask the airline for permission.

The power bank must also always be in yourcarry-on luggage on board, not in checked luggage.

Answers to frequently asked questions about power banks

How many phone charges can a 20,000 mAh power bank handle?

It depends on the specific mobile phone, but typically a power bank with this capacity can handle approximately 4–5 full charges.

What is Qi2 and why is it better than regular Qi?

Qi2 is a newer wireless charging standard with better magnetic alignment and higher efficiency, making charging more stable and faster (up to 15 W). Some FIXED power banks also support Qi2 certification.

Can a FIXED power bank also charge a MacBook?

Yes, if it supports USB-C Power Delivery with sufficient power (ideally 30–100 W depending on the MacBook model).
