Glass resistance testing
To be sure of the quality of protection, we carefully test every aspect.
We test the durability of the glass, but also the user experience.
There are several resistance tests:
- Resistance to falling on the glass surface - the fall of a steel ball weighing 64 g on the glass itself
- Scratch resistance - the hardness of the glass is determined on the Mohs scale of resistance with shovels of different hardness
- Edge resistance – the impact of the edge of the glass on a sharp point
Tests to improve the user experience:
- Light transmission test – it mainly affects the good visibility of the display under the protective glass
- Microscopic test on drops of distilled water - this is how the oleophobic layer is tested, which helps smooth sliding on the glass and reduces the appearance of fingerprints
- Analysis of the contents of the accessories in the package - a simple application of glass to the phone
