XIAOMI phone battery optimization manual

The Android operating system and its MIUI extensions on XIAOMI phones mean that as soon as the FIXED Smart application is run in the background, it is automatically deactivated by the system and subsequently your smart trackers do not work properly or are disconnected.

To fix this issue, follow this guide to grant an exception for the FIXED Smart app. The screenshots used in the guide are from a Xiaomi Redmi 7 running Android 10, MIUI 11.0.2. The settings may vary slightly on other phones running different Android versions and builds.

1. Open the Settings app from the app drawer

2. In the list of options, select Battery & performance

3. Go to Battery option

4. Select Apps & Battery Saver

5. Search for FIXED Smart apps

6. Select No restrictions. And you're done! :-)
