1st step to ReStory
Unused TPU cases that would otherwise be disposed of are transported to a local production facility, where they are subsequently ground into particles.
Each batch is thoroughly measured and inspected to ensure excellent quality in every recycled product.
2nd step to ReStory
The prepared mixture is enriched with additives, melted into a uniform mass and ready for pressing.
The cases are molded to fit individual phone models to fit exactly on each button or cut-out.
3rd step to ReStory
The finished products are hand-packed in all-paper packaging and transported locally to customers.
The use of local production and the elimination of ocean transport contributed to saving up to 45% of the carbon footprint of cases that are manufactured using a standard process.
Carbon footprint reduction backed by studies
“ Both from the point of view of the carbon footprint and the overall environmental impact, the recycled TPU ReStory cases produced by FIXED show a significantly lower environmental burden. In terms of carbon footprint, the recycled case achieves 55% of the greenhouse gas emission value, which is half that of packaging made in China. In the case of an overall assessment of all environmental impacts, the recycled case shows an even greater rate of savings, a value of 51% ."
