At the end of January, a new flagship among mobile phones from Samsung - the Galaxy S24 series - saw the light of day. Are you getting a protective glass for this new product, but don't know how to stick it correctly? Below we have a simple guide for you that you can use even in the case of older Samsung Galaxy S smartphones.
Bonding tempered glass to Samsung Galaxy S series mobile phones is quite specific, among other things due to the need to turn on the so-called touch sensitivity. But you don't have to worry, with our instructions you will be able to do it in no time.
So how to do it?
1. Scan your fingers for identification
Before you start gluing the glass, you first need to scan (identify) your fingers, so that you can, for example, unlock the screen simply by touching it. After sticking the protective glass, finger scanning would no longer be possible. If you have this identification set, continue.
2. Turn on the "Touch sensitivity" function
In the case of Samsung Galaxy S mobile phones, after sticking the glass, it may happen that the display does not respond to your touches as it should. It has an easy solution - turn on the "Touch Sensitivity" function as follows:
- Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Display" option
- Click on "Touch Sensitivity"
At this point, Touch Sensitivity should be turned on. You can find high-quality protective glasses and other accessories for the Samsung Galaxy S24 in our e-shop. So equip your new phone properly so that it's like cotton and you don't have to deal with breaking it in a few days.
3. Stick the glass on the display
Now get down to gluing the glass itself. Our video below will help you with proper gluing.
4. Wait 10 minutes
You're done, you don't need to do anything else. In order for the display to work without problems, however, you need to wait at least 10 minutes for the adhesive on the protective glass to properly "harden". After 10 minutes, unlock and lock the phone several times, then everything should work and you can use the phone straight away.
